As a Virtual Financial Advisor at Scotiabank, you will help employees and clients build their futures and achieve their financial goals.

What you’ll be doing

• Conduct virtual consultations to develop personalized financial plans.
• Identify new opportunities for clients to optimize their financial well‑being.
• Educate customers with relevant insights and expert advice.
• Build comprehensive plans using a holistic approach to support clients’ goals.
• Nurture strong, long‑standing client relationships.
• Develop, retain, and grow the business by achieving individual and team sales goals.

What you need to succeed

• Strong customer‑relationship skills and a commitment to excellent service.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a fast‑paced environment.
• Mutual Funds license and a commitment to completing the CIFP Diploma.
• In‑depth knowledge of retail banking products, credit, mortgages, and personal loans.
• Expert knowledge of mutual funds, including fund types, performance evaluation, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
• Bilingualism in French and English is required.

Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada. This position is based in person at our downtown Montreal office on Sherbrooke Street and requires flexibility to work rotating hours: Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

In addition to French, candidates must have sufficient knowledge of English, as the role involves interacting and collaborating regularly with groups in Toronto and with clients who speak English.
