Underwriting Assistant

Do you have excel experience? We are currently looking for individuals to join our client, one of Canada's largest insurance and financial services companies, as an Underwriting Assistant. This role is focused on supporting and assisting underwriters with processing of documents including providing administrative and clerical support to the underwriting team.

• Hybrid role: 50% in office

Workers placed through Randstad are eligible for preferred rates on health, dental, and life insurance. Data entry into the RTM system for new business, renewals, and endorsements including variouschanges under the direction of underwriters.

• Report ordering and assistance with billing.
• Provide maximum broker satisfaction whenever contact is made with brokers focused oncommercial property and casualty accounts.
• Prepare the underwriting pre-work for property and casualty policies.
• Filing, faxing and photocopying underwriting materials.
• Processing loss control reports and other assigned duties.
• 1-3 years of related experience in an administrative and supportive function.
• Working knowledge of underwriting roles and policies and procedures is an asset
