Senior Procurement and Contracts Specialist

Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, the Senior supplier contract administrator will be responsible for setting up and managing commercial agreements with our strategic suppliers. You will play a leading role in negotiating contracts to ensure the financial performance of programs, and the organization's compliance with regulatory, legal and corporate requirements.

To achieve your objectives, you will work closely with supply chain, sales, engineering and operations teams.

As a Senior Supplier Contract Administrator will include:

Define and maintain, in collaboration with procurement, engineering and sales teams, a solid and robust procurement strategy to support operations, program requirements, while generating value for the organization (savings, avoided costs, etc.) ;

Lead negotiations of CMC Electronics subcontracting requirements with existing and potential suppliers, within parameters determined by management;

Evaluate commercial proposals, and make final supplier selection with the teams involved;

Coordinate a smooth transition of files to the Tactical Purchasing team;

Coordinate the preparation of proposals, including bid verification, and prepare general conditions, compliance matrices and commercial terms and conditions;

Ensure performance, compliance with contractual obligations, contract updates and relationships with key subcontractors and strategic suppliers.

Provide support, as required, to the Tactical Purchasing team or business units in sourcing.

Resolve commercial disputes when required.

Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent ;

Minimum of 5 years' experience in contract administration and management in an aerospace, military or high-tech organization;

Experience in drafting or reviewing strategic sourcing contracts;

Experience in defining a procurement strategy.
