Job Responsibility:
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Counter Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service while assisting with food preparation and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This position requires a passion for the food industry and a commitment to upholding food safety standards.
Duties
Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
Assist in food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines.
Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and operating the POS system.
Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, dining space, and kitchen as needed.
Provide assistance to customers, addressing their inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Follow time management practices to ensure timely service delivery.
Experience
Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety standards is a plus.
Strong customer service skills with an ability to engage positively with customers.
Experience with cash handling and operating POS systems is advantageous.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
