IT Analyste fonctionnel H/F

On behalf of our client, Affinity is seeking a solid BSA with experience collaborating with business units to deliver world class customer focused solutions. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills to act as a conduit between our business units, IT department, or external partners to facilitate change through understanding business needs, defining requirements and recommending solutions. You enjoy planning, managing, and leading the delivery of detailed business and system requirements that align to the organization’s standards and frameworks.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field, applying analytical and critical thinking. understand business processes.

• Post-secondary degree in IT, Business, or related field.
• Experience working with waterfall and agile approach.
• Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC).
• In depth knowledge of process mapping and applying tools and techniques to facilitate business analysis.
• Expertise with MS Office suite, Visio, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and workflows.
• Previous financial services or banking experience an asset.
• Ability to grasp business concepts, research, and define business requirements.

Experience in quality assurance, data integrity, process improvement, prototyping and transition planning is desired.

Plan, prioritize and complete business analysis activities for either waterfall or agile projects.

• Translate needs into business requirements and technical specifications.
• Identify and apply the appropriate elicitation techniques to facilitate collaborative sessions with diverse business and technology stakeholder groups.
• Drive both business and systems requirements through discovery, analysis, and validation.
• Provide input into project planning, sprint planning, sprint review, grooming or product backlog review, and retrospectives.
• Identify the appropriate tools and techniques to resolve business and operational challenges and provide actionable recommendations.
• Identify and report risks, issues, constraints, and gaps to the PM, or the appropriate stakeholders.
• Contribute to the definition of test cases and participate in testing activities as required.
• Lead small to medium project or perform other activities as required.

Business Analysis - 5+ years of experience facilitating collaborative sessions with diverse business and technology stakeholder groups to drive both business and systems requirements discovery, analysis, and review.
Technical Analysis - 5+ years of experience creating system models, technical specifications (from functional requirements), grooming stories, diagrams and charts to provide direction to development teams.
Have completed, as a Business Analyst, at least one SAP Concur implementation and integration with UKG and NetSuite (or implementation of similar ERP system)
Education in Finance or Accounting, orexperience working in accounting or finance departments and ability to translate needs/requirements and communicate effectively between finance teams and technical teams .
