IT Support Technician, Information Technology

IT – Support Analyst 1
Provide support for customer requests, analyze problems, and escalate issues when necessary
Communicate technical information to nontechnical users
Troubleshoot desktop and printer hardware and software issues; Install, configure, and test all new workstations, peripheral equipment, and software
Possess a minimum of one (1) year of experience in the resolution of issues related to desktop, applications, or network systems in a Windows environment

A university degree or diploma in computer science recent graduate
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong written documentation and note-taking skills.
Experience supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems.
Experience supporting POS or E-Commerce systems.
Basic understanding of networking concepts including:
Wireless Networking
While not required, experience with any of the following technologies would be considered an asset:

Microsoft 365 Administration
Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory)
IT Service Management platforms (ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, Freshservice, Zendesk, etc.)
Cisco, Meraki, or Ubiquiti networking equipment
Enterprise laptop and desktop deployments
Multi-site support environments
Customer service or hospitality experience
A university degree, diploma in computer science, or related IT certificates.

The following certifications are considered assets:

CompTIA Network+
Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900)
Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900)
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
Candidates currently studying toward these certifications are encouraged to apply.
