Senior Salesforce Configuration Engineer
$95k - $145k per yearSenior Salesforce Developer
You will join a global Software Engineering team working closely with business stakeholders, analysts, architects, and engineers to design, develop, test, and deliver Salesforce-based solutions. The role focuses on building scalable CRM solutions, improving business processes, ensuring data integrity, and supporting user adoption.
The environment promotes collaboration, continuous improvement, and simplification of processes, technology, and workflows.
This is a hybrid role requiring on-site presence at the client’s office in Markham 3 days per week, with occasional visits to downtown Toronto (subject to change).
Work extensively with Salesforce Lightning configuration and Apex development
- Apply strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture frameworks, best practices, and business processes
- Develop and maintain Salesforce customizations including Apex, Visualforce, Triggers, and LWC
- Work within Agile/Scrum delivery environments
- Participate in deployments using version control systems and CI/CD tools
- Apply testing tools and techniques for both development and integration environments
- Work independently to deliver project requirements and communicate effectively with stakeholders
- 5+ years of experience in Salesforce administration and development
- 5+ years of experience in software development
- Strong experience with Salesforce Lightning configuration
- Strong experience with Salesforce customization (Apex, Visualforce, Triggers, LWC)
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture frameworks and best practices
- Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party systems (e.g., Experience using integration technologies ( XML, JSON, SOQL)
- Experience with version control and CI/CD deployment processes
- Experience with testing tools and techniques for development and integration
- Knowledge of system architecture and database design
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Salesforce Platform Developer I or other Salesforce certifications
- Experience with Salesforce Account Engagement
- Experience with Salesforce Voice
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Experience in e-commerce, classifieds, or internet-based platforms
