McMaster Divinity College is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic employee who is committed to providing accurate and timely financial support to the Finance team. You will work alongside the Senior Finance Assistant and Vice President Finance.
Start Date: As soon as possible
Type: Part-time, 2 days/week (14 hours/week), in office
Reports to: Vice President Finance
Record bank activity (e-transfers, deposits, etc.) and record credit card activity (collecting and reviewing receipts)
Prepare bank deposits
Prepare bank and credit card statement reconciliations, along with related follow-up, to ensure complete and timely reporting
Verify, record, and pay vendor invoices and staff expense reimbursements
Undergraduate degree or diploma in accounting or a related business field
Minimum of 1-2 years in accounting or a similar role
Proficient in the use of Microsoft 365, specifically Excel
Proficient in accounting methods, proper internal control practices, and financial systems
Agreement with McMaster Divinity College’s Statement of Faith
