Hotel Arts is currently looking for a casual Pastry Cook!We are looking for someone who will consistently provide quality and production daily in an organized and effective manner. This cook will primarily be working alongside our pastry team.
Job Type: Casual
Flexible schedule is essential. Must be available to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Will ensure all pastries, desserts, and baked goods are prepared efficiently to standard
Ability to maintain food quality and presentation standards within a consistency based framework
Able to manage time with multiple tasks throughout a shift
High level of interest with food and have a keen interest in the culinary arts
Will ensure the cleanliness and proper storage of all food product
Will ensure all appropriate provincial health regulations and food handling techniques
Is aware of food cost, portion, and waste controls
1-2 years of experience in a similar position an asset
~ Must be able to work weekends and holidays
