Monitoring Attendant

Job Responsibility:

We are presently searching for our next great team member as a Boathouse Attendant to join our Boathouse team. If you can provide our guests with an amazing experience, combined with working as an energetic part of our resort, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities include: (but not limited to)
Equipment rentals (Canoes, kayaks, SUP, etc)
Provide excellent customer service to all guests.
Ensure waivers & rental forms are completed.
Cash, debit and credit card transactions for equipment rentals and merchandise sales.
Provide correctly sized equipment for guests and basic instruction for use.
Monitor the safety of guests using equipment and ensure PFDs are correctly used.
Monitor upkeep and safety of equipment, report any issues to the supervisor.
Perform repairs on watercraft.
Litter picking, empty garbage/recycling, cleaning pit toilets
Job Requirements / Qualifications:
Value safe working practices
Able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
Minimum class 5 driver's license
Criminal Record Check
Previous experience with watercrafts is an asset (canoes, kayaks and SUP's).
Previous experience handling money and using a POS system
Willingness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Experience performing boat of similar repairs is an asset
Available to work flexible hours; shift times are 8am-4:30pm / 10am-6:30pm
Fluent in English
