Under the supervision of the Aquatic Supervisor, this is junior-level aquatic work in delivering an enjoyable and safe aquatic experience for the public. An employee of this position is responsible for overseeing patrons using the waterslides, assisting with delivery of event programs and activities, and performing routine daily maintenance tasks in accordance with established practices and procedures, exercising judgment and action in ensuring the safety of patrons using the aquatic facility.
Assists or leads event programs/activities in the aquatic facility, such as birthday parties; Working knowledge of principles and techniques of active surveillance in aquatic facilities.
Working knowledge of community recreation principles and practices, including safe and proper use of equipment and facilities.
Ability to monitor and prevent infractions of pool rules and regulations with professionalism.
Minimum age of 15 years or older.
Heart and Stroke Foundation
Work is performed in an environment with exposure to pool chemicals.
In addition, successful candidates will be required to attend an Orientation session on Sunday, May 10, 10am-2pm at Watermania. Candidates who are unable to attend these dates may not be considered.

Auxiliary work may include daytime and evening shifts on both weekdays and weekends as scheduled or on-call. For new hires, availability to work three days per week is required.
