UX Design Researcher

Do you have 5+ years strong hands-on experience in translating designs into HTML, CSS/SASS, and JavaScript? Our client is looking for an Intermediate UX Designer for a 10 month contract in Toronto.

- Design intuitive, user‑centered interfaces for web‑based applications
- Translate UX concepts, wireframes, and prototypes into functioning front‑end code using HTML, CSS/SASS, and JavaScript
- Create and refine UX artefacts including wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes
- Support content updates and page maintenance using WordPress or similar CMS platforms
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders throughout the design lifecycle
- Ensure designs adhere to accessibility, usability, and web standards
- Conduct design iterations based on feedback, usability insights, and technical constraints
- Participate in Agile or waterfall delivery processes as part of application teams.
Proven experience designing UX interfaces for web applications
- Strong hands-on experience translating designs into HTML, CSS/SASS, and JavaScript
- Experience supporting content updates and ongoing upkeep of web applications
- Strong understanding of responsive and accessible web design principles
- Public Sector Experience: Nice to Have
