UX Researcher

Our FI client is looking for a UX Researcher to join their team. In this role, you will uncover customer needs, behaviors, and pain points across end-to-end banking journeys, from account opening and onboarding to everyday money movement and financial wellness.

You will work closely with product managers, designers, data analysts, and engineering partners to ensure every decision is grounded in evidence and human understanding.

Responsibilities:

• Lead qualitative and quantitative research across consumer banking journeys, including discovery, concept testing, usability evaluation, and post-launch measurement.
• Map customer behaviors and pain points across complex, multi-channel banking experiences (mobile, web, branch, call center).
• Translate research insights into actionable recommendations that influence product strategy, design decisions, and prioritization.
• Design and execute research plans using methods such as interviews, diary studies, field research, surveys, card sorting, and usability testing.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define research questions, align on hypotheses, and integrate findings into roadmaps.

Skills required:

• FI, Insurance or Fintech experience.
• Mobile product experience.
• Experience conducting UX research in a product, design, or innovation environment.
• Strong command of both generative and evaluative research methods.
