Ingénieur Procédés Engineering / Commissioning (H/F)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Intermediate Process Engineer to join our Toronto office. We are looking for someone that is ready to provide solutions for our mining projects with a gold and base metals background with experience in studies, detailed engineering, construction, commissioning and operations will be well suited for this role.

Develop process deliverables including process design criteria, process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, equipment sizing, mass and energy balances according to Ausenco Standards.

Contribute to the delivery of multidiscipline engineering design by liaising with other engineering disciplines during the preparation of engineering designs and studies.

Demonstrated ability to communicate and coordinate technical issues with clients.

Gather measurements, record observations, perform calculations and basic analysis, and prepare reports for projects and trade-off studies.

Comply with relevant business management system (or quality) policies & procedures.

Develop networks and relationships within teams, across the organization and with clients.

Bachelor’s degree in Mineral Processing, Extractive Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering.

• Experience with EPCM studies and projects in a consulting engineering capacity.
• 5 - 10 years of solid experience working with mineral processing combined with study delivery (scoping, pre-feasibility, feasibility, trade-offs, basic and detail engineering). Experience in detail engineering will be an asset for the successful candidate.
• Experienced with concentrator and hydrometallurgical plant design (greenfield and brownfield projects) – for a wide range of minerals and metals: copper, gold/silver and polymetallic ores.
• Experience in the field of engineering, design, construction, commissioning and operation.
• Ability to effectively translate field and engineering experience to other process staff and design.
• Demonstrated initiative and ingenuity in providing engineering solutions.
