Warehouse, Inventory, Logistics Lead

Job Responsibility:

Location: MULTIMATIC MECHANISMS GROUP OFFICE, Concord, Ontario, Canada

Job Summary: As a Warehouse Manager, you would be required to coordinate with 3 Divisions/ plants in Canada to meet the productivity targets, receive and dispatch goods/parts appropriately, and manage systems processes. You will be responsible for the security of the stock and the warehouse.

Duties:

Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing programs.

Issue lists of incoming items and shipments, and hand them over to the receiving personnel.

Ensure a well-coordinated reception of all materials, items, and products, and make sure they are sorted, labeled, and stored per company standards and policies.

Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling them with data storage systems

Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts.

Ensure delivery deadlines and quality objectives are met.

Work with plants to schedule material flow between the supply base, plants, and customers to meet production schedules.

Lead continuous improvement opportunities.

Act as bridges between different departments, improving communication between the staff and admin and creating a well-coordinated workplace.

Prepare an annual budget, schedule expenditures, and analyze variances to achieve financial objectives.

Ensure that the company complies with federal, provincial, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new rules. Ensure the company complies with safety and health regulations.

Establish and monitor security procedures and protocols to safeguard warehouse operations and contents.

Recruit and train new hires and assist warehouse employees with tasks when there is a need.

Assign work schedules and timesheets to Warehouse Workers and prepare a list of outgoing shipments.

Improves staff performance by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in business - related to facility operations and logistics
• 8+ years of proven experience in warehouse management or a related field.
• Manufacturing, OEMs, and or Tier 1 experience.
• Excellent communication abilities to interact with the team and other departments.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt to changing situations.
