A&W Whitehorse (Turnaround Foods Ltd.) is seeking 4 full-time, permanent, Food Counter Attendants (NOC65201) to start immediately. (Language: English

The McMurray Group owns and operates A&W Restaurants across Western Canada. Job Duties: The Food Counter Attendant is responsible for taking customer orders, accepting various forms of payment, and serving the customers either at the food counter or table. The role also involves preparing, heating, and finishing cooked food items. The Food Counter Attendant does the following:
use a cash register to take customer orders, accept payment and give change
answer customer questions about menu items and serve customers at counter
preparing food such as sandwiches, hamburgers, deep fried sides, milkshakes, ice cream dishes and beverages, including coffee-type drinks
clean, peel, slice and trim food items using manual and electric appliances
stock refrigerators, cupboards, and salad bars
keep records of the quantities of food used, or wasted
clean and sanitize kitchen areas including, work surfaces, cupboards, and storage areas, as well as dispose of kitchen garbage
help other workers who prepare or serve food and beverages.
bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving/staging areas
refill condiments and other supplies at tables and in serving areas
unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, cupboards, and storage areas
orderly unload trucks picking up or delivering food and supplies
