Director of HR and Recruitment

We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on HR Manager to become the very first dedicated HR professional our clients growing manufacturing facility, located in Mississauga. This is a unique, ground-floor opportunity to help shape, implement and build the HR structure. You will partner directly with leadership to establish foundational policies, drive recruitment, ensure compliance, and foster a strong, safety-first culture on the production floor.
On-site: five days a week
True Ownership: You won’t just be following a playbook—you will be writing it. Competitive Compensation: Competitive base salary ($100,000 - $120,000, depending on experience) plus vacation, benefits, and bonus.

Build the Foundation: Standardize the employee handbook, design onboarding processes, and establish core HR policies tailored to a manufacturing environment.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
Own the Pipeline: Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for both skilled trade roles and corporate positions.
Employee Relations & Culture
Maintain a strong visibility on the shop floor, building trust and open communication with both shift workers and leadership.
Experience: 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with preference for those from manufacturing, warehousing, or industrial environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Communication Style: Able to communicate effectively with everyone from an entry-level assembly worker to the executive suite.
On-Site Presence: High energy and comfort working in a bustling, fast-paced manufacturing office environment five days a week.
