Wrapex Industrial Services is seeking a proactive and dedicated Health and Safety Advisor to join our dynamic team. This role is open to candidates at all levels of experience from recent graduates to seasoned professionals. Ensure company HSE program meets or exceeds the Clients site standards and policies

Monitor and audit the performance of the team to ensure conformance to the company HSE Management Program

Maintain and update HSE Manual

Continually monitor, audit and maintain the company HSE program to ensure appropriate level of awareness, knowledge and preparedness across the Client side

Coordinate, monitor and supervise investigations of all incidents and near miss incidents

Creation of site-specific documentation including JHS's, ERP's and project work plans

Assist, review and ensure compliance regulations, acts, code, laws and standards within Occupational Health and Safety in order to identify potential hazards in the workplace to minimize/prevent incidents and injuries

Determine client specific certification and training requirements for field staff

Routine visits to field locations to ensure continued alignment and provide support as required

Supervise and support Field HSE Advisors and Project Managers on all aspects related to OHS

Champion new roll-up HSE programs

Create and lead annual HSE programs such as "Fresh Start" and "Finish Strong" campaigns

Prepare, lead and distribute monthly safety meetings

Complete Office and Shop Safety Inspections

NSCO Designation ( considered an asset for all level of candidates)

CRSP designation ( considered an asset for all level of candidates

Active First Aid Training

Working knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Legislation

Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for safety excellence and taking initiative

Safety sensitive position

Office based (no-hybrid or remote work option available)

Available outside of regular business hours for emergency situations

Must be able to travel out of town when needed for Client meetings

May be exposed to high noise levels and hazards associated with live operating plants, industrial sites and remote work locations
