As a Commercial LinesAccount Executive at Schill Insurance, you are responsible for growing andprotecting a portfolio of commercial clients. You build strong relationships,lead strategic conversations, and apply technical expertise and judgement toassess risk and structure coverage effectively. You are a trusted advisor toclients and a key contributor to Schill’s long-term growth.
Balance new business activity withlong-term portfolio quality, fit, and sustainability.
Drive new business throughreferrals, centers of influence, networking, and proactive prospecting.
Lead client and prospect meetingsfocused on understanding operations, uncovering risk, and positioning Schill asa trusted advisor.
Build and maintain a visiblepresence in the community to attract new opportunities.
Maintain an active pipeline andfollow through consistently on sales activity and opportunities.
Provide regular updates on salesactivity, market wins and losses, and emerging opportunities.
Client Relationship Management
Act as the primary relationshipcontact for commercial clients, balancing advisory credibility with commercialoutcomes.
Lead renewal conversations with afocus on changes in operations, market conditions, and long-term clientoutcomes.
Ensure coverage is structuredthoughtfully, with no unintended gaps, and aligned to client risk tolerance andbusiness goals.
Communicate proactively withclients throughout the policy lifecycle, including renewals, endorsements, andchanges in exposure.
Account Management & PolicyExecution
Manage new business, renewals,endorsements, and cancellations in accordance with Schill and insurerguidelines.
Support remarketing decisionswhere needed to protect retention and ensure long-term account health.
Continuously build technicalknowledge of commercial coverages, products, and risk exposures.
Confident, outward-facing presencewith comfort initiating conversations and building new relationships
Commercial curiosity and drive touncover opportunities, not just respond to requests
Ownership for personal results,pipeline activity, and follow-through
Balanced persistence that respectsclient trust, long-term relationships, and sound judgment
Level 2 general insurance license
Strong working knowledge ofcommercial insurance coverages, products, and common risk exposures
Solid understanding of insurerrequirements and underwriting principles
Proficiency with Epic or similarbroker management systems
