Junior CNC Milling Machinist Position Summary: We are currently recruiting Junior CNC Milling Machinists (Operators) to join our team in Calgary, AB at our Calgary 8 facility. The Junior CNC Milling Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining a variety of machines within the Machine Shop. Schedules Evenings: Mon to Wed - 3pm to 1:30am, and Thu 3pm to 1am. Weekends: Fri to Sun OR Sat to Mon - 6am to 6pm. This position demonstrates safe working practices in the machining, fabrication and modification of aeronautical components

Responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining a variety of machines including computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines to perform precision machining operations such as sawing, turning, milling, boring, drilling, and other operations

Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments

3+ years of experience in CNC Milling Machining as a Machinist; Year 1 to 4 apprenticeship would be considered an asset

• You must be a resident of, or willing to relocate to the Calgary, AB area
• Understanding of CNC programs and G-code
