About the Team & Facility This Tier-I manufacturing operation has been a trusted supplier to the automotive industry since 1976, building a strong reputation for quality, consistency, and long-term partnerships. In response to continued growth and customer demand, the organization expanded in 2001 to a second, modernized facility, further strengthening its ability to support high-volume production and advanced manufacturing programs.
Today, the team produces a wide range of precision automotive components including seating systems, structural frames, door assemblies, and other critical vehicle parts supplied to leading OEMs and Tier 1 customers. The environment is fast-paced but highly structured, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. This is a stable, growth-focused operation where employees are supported, safety is prioritized, and long-term careers are built.
As a Maintenance Electrician, you will play a key role in supporting overall equipment reliability and production uptime within a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment. This includes performing preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance on a wide range of plant equipment, with a strong focus on minimizing downtime and improving overall equipment performance.
You will also be actively involved in continuous improvement initiatives, supporting capital and CI projects across the facility. Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment in accordance with scheduled maintenance programs
Respond to reactive maintenance issues and troubleshoot electrical/mechanical failures to restore equipment uptime quickly
Support continuous improvement (CI) initiatives and assist with equipment upgrades, modifications, and capital projects
Accurately document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage within maintenance tracking systems
Valid Industrial Electrician License (442A) through Skilled Trades Ontario (mandatory)
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance role; preference to candidates with automotive manufacturing experience, more specifically stamping
- Strong automotive manufacturing experience, specifically with robotics, automation, and welding systems
- Proven ability to troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems, read technical drawings, and use diagnostic tools (multimeter, micrometers, etc.)
Compensation: $42–$44/hour + Pension
Shift: Straight Days (6:00am-2:00pm)
