Radiology Technologist (full Time)

The post is suitable for experienced Radiographers looking to progress into a Band 6 role or those already working at an equivalent level.
The role supports professional development, clinical specialisation, and participation in a structured cross-site rotational programme across a range of imaging modalities.
Queen Elizabeth University Hospital – West of Scotland Major Trauma Centre
Gartnavel General Hospital, including the West of Scotland Beatson Oncology Centre
New Victoria Hospital
Cross-site rotational post operating within a hub-and-spoke model.
Flexible working as part of a 24/7, 365-day service.
Participation in weekends, extended days, night shifts, and public holidays as required.
Permanent rotational Band 6 post (subject to advert specifics).

As a Band 6 Speciality Radiographer, you will:
Deliver high-quality imaging services across emergency, inpatient, outpatient, and theatre pathways.
Provide supervision, support, and leadership to junior radiographers and students.
Contribute to quality improvement projects and continuing professional development (CPD) programmes.
Support the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centred radiology services in line with local and national standards.
Undertake rotational training and practice within:
Plain Film
Interventional Radiology
Neurointerventional Radiology

BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification (e.g. Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Understanding of service development and quality improvement principles.
