Service Management Project Manager

On behalf of our client, Affinity is seeking an experienced Project Manager who will successfully deliver projects on time, budget and scope including change management activities. You must be highly detail oriented and be able to plan and execute on prioritized technology and strategic initiatives, while delivering high quality service that shapes the organizations technology future.

Experienced PM in both Traditional and Agile methodologies
Understands full project Lifecycle and SDLC.
Plan and deliver complex projects within scope, budget, time and expected benefits while following the appropriate Project Delivery methodology and guidelines.
Lead cross-functional teams (e.g. business leaders, subject matter experts, and/or third-party resources) through the end to end project delivery lifecycle to achieve business objectives.
Have implemented large projects/programs as the lead PM
Strong understanding of Financial institutions and Canadian regulatory environment
Have led regulatory or compliance change management projects to internal policies, processes or systems
Prior experience dealing with Vendors who operate globally with teams that are offshore.
Ability to communicate internally to project team, externally to vendor and upwards to senior management
Capture and monitor delivery metrics and work to continuously improve quality, velocity and time to market.
Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team resources, influencing them and their teams to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
Project Management experience - 5+ years of Project Management experience including liaising with business and IT stakeholders to lead the planning and implementation of projects, creating project charters, project scope, budgets, schedules, managing C level stakeholder relationships and conducting change management initiatives such as training & communication.
Banking or Financial Institution experience - 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager at Financial Services or Financial institutions; having implemented projects that span credit and lending processes and products.
Certifications – Have achieved PMP, PgMP or ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner) certifications.
