Customer Sales and Service Coordinator

Reporting to the General Manager , we are seeking an organized, proactive, and customer-focused Sales Manager to join our team in October 2026 to help prepare for the resort opening and support the long-term success of our Sales Department.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of the resort's opening leadership support team. During the pre-opening phase, the Sales Manager will assist in establishing departmental processes, supporting group and event sales, coordinating client communications, and helping build the foundation for a successful opening.
Following the resort opening, this position will continue as an integral part of the Sales team, supporting business development initiatives while ensuring exceptional service for clients planning meetings, weddings, corporate events, and leisure group stays.

Develop and execute the pre-opening and opening sales, marketing, and revenue strategies to achieve hotel occupancy and revenue goals.

• Lead all pre-opening sales initiatives, including prospecting, market research, account development, and brand awareness campaigns.
• Establish and grow relationships with local businesses, corporate accounts, government agencies, sports organizations, tour operators, community groups, meeting planners, and travel partners.
• Build a strong customer pipeline by securing negotiated corporate accounts, group business, and key partnerships prior to the hotel's opening.
• Collaborate with Hilton Global Sales, Global Distribution System (GDS) partners, Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), and other distribution channels to maximize market exposure and revenue opportunities.
• Conduct site inspections, sales presentations, networking events, and community outreach to promote the hotel and generate new business.
• Develop competitive market analyses and identify opportunities to position the hotel effectively within the local market.
• Participate in the development of hotel pricing strategies, sales forecasts, and business plans in collaboration with the General Manager and Revenue Management team.
• Coordinate with Operations, Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and other departments to ensure operational readiness for the hotel's opening.
• Assist in implementing sales systems, standard operating procedures (SOPs), CRM databases, and reporting processes before opening.
• Analyze group and corporate business opportunities to ensure profitability while maximizing occupancy and revenue.
• Represent the hotel, Alba Hospitality, and Hilton Hotels with professionalism at industry events, trade shows, networking functions, and community activities.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of sales and front office team members during the pre-opening phase, as required.
• Assist the General Manager with pre-opening planning, opening activities, and day-to-day hotel operations to ensure a successful hotel launch and ongoing operational excellence.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel sales, groups, meetings, or events

• Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Team player with a proactive approach to customer service
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
• Experience with CRM systems or hotel management software (Delphi, PEP (ONQ), or equivalent) is an asset
• Experience in a hotel pre-opening or large-scale project is an asset
• Bilingualism (French and English) is essential
• Degree in hotel management, administration, sales, tourism, or a related field
• Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously and meet deadlines
