Job Overview Roll This Way Sushi Catering and classes is Torontos premiere sushi caterer specializing in a variety of events and sushi making workshops. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Sushi Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the sushi food industry and a strong commitment to food safety and quality. As a sushi cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that each dish is prepared to perfection and meets our high standards for taste and presentation.
Duties
Prepare a variety of sushi dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
Handle food products safely, ensuring proper storage and handling techniques are followed.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality food service.
Requirements
Previous experience in a sushi kitchen or restaurant setting is mandatory.
Knowledge of sushi preparation techniques.
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
A passion for sushi and providing exceptional food service.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
