JOB IS LOCATED AT A REMOTE MINE SITE in Northern Saskatchewan. TO START ASAP.
- *WE COVER YOUR TRAVEL (Flight/shuttle service out of Saskatoon, P.A., certain communities), MEALS, & ACCOMMODATIONS when at site!
- *SHIFT WORK IS REQUIRED; MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG & ALCOHOL TEST.
As the 2nd Cook, you will report to the Chef and shall prepare sufficient meals, including batch cooking for daily operations (based on site numbers). Ensure all foods are ready and cook for mealtimes.
- Maintain a clean & safe kitchen according to standards.
- Ensure 3rd cook is notified of food to save; Previous kitchen experience is essential.
- Possession of Food Safe Certification is a strong asset.
- Experience with kitchen management in the service industry is an asset.
- Knowledge of Vegan, Halal & Gluten allergy variation cooking skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team.
- Customer relation skills.
