As a Youth Care Worker you will be a key player in creating a safe, nurturing, and structured living environment. You will work alongside participants to help them grow, thrive, and reach their full potential. Work schedules with shift rotations that allow for 3 to 5 days break between shift rotations.
Evening, weekend, and overnight shifts which provide many individuals the flexibility to attend classes, coordinate childcare and allow plenty of time for outside interests.
The opportunity to build genuine relationships with children, youth and/or adults who have experienced complex challenges including behavioral issues, mental health disorders, substance dependency and other related issues.
A fast-paced environment where you are active with youth out in the community doing activities such as swimming, hiking, fishing, and attending community events.
Earn excellent work experience in the field of social, community, and education services.
Completion of a High school diploma.
A certificate, diploma, or degree in Child and Youth Care, Disability Support, or a related field is an asset.
At least one (1) year of experience working with children, youth, and/or adults with behavioral, cognitive, mental health, or developmental challenges.

Actively participate in team meetings, contributing your ideas and experiences to help improve the care we provide.
The successful candidate is responsible for completing all mandatory training requirements for the position as per agency policy and guidelines. The successful candidate must hold a class five (5) novice two (2) or higher drivers license and be eligible for coverage under our commercial auto insurance policy. The successful candidate will work in a shift work environment as we operate 365/24/7.

Wage: Full-Time/Part Time starting at $25.06 per hour.
Casual starting at $20.97 per hour.
