Market & Business Development Representative

Accountable for completion of tasks related to NFI Connect sales presentations, business development strategy, accounts and projects. The tasks include interaction and support to customers, development of case-studies, development of Marketing and training material, development of business models, and expert use of the New Flyer Connect system and project management.
Manages Smart Bus Technology projects and contracts with customers. Acquires and maintains an expert knowledge of existing Bus and Coach monitoring solutions and trends.
Develops and participates in Marketing and Promotion plans and materials for New Flyer Connect.
Develop training materials for drivers, installers and external users of the system. Develop training materials for Engineering, NPD, Sales, Bids, Field Service, CPM, Production and other internal customers.
Develops business models and concepts including pricing structures, payment terms and contractual agreements.
Participate in business discussions and negotiations with potential customers.
Assesses customer needs and collaborates in the development of the NFI Connect business and roadmap.
Provides support to Production, Quality Assurance, Customer Service Support, and other departments as required.
Interacts with vendors and customers on technical and non-technical issues associated with the use of the New Flyer Connect system.
Post‑secondary education in business or a related discipline, or technical education with a business orientation (or vice‑versa)
Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand technical problems
Experience in bus and coach operations and/or maintenance
Basic knowledge of bus and coach operations and/or maintenance
Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
Ability to use a computer and other equipment relevant to the position
