Inventory/Warehousing-Forklift Operator

We are one of Western Canada’s largest window and door manufacturers servicing consumers, contractors, and retailers. A Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift to safely and efficiently move materials within a warehouse, distribution center, or other industrial settings. This role involves loading and unloading materials, organizing inventory, and adhering to safety protocols to prevent accidents.
Counterbalance forklift and Reach Truck experience is mandatory.
Maintain department equipment, company materials in an organized manner.
Follow all loss prevention policies and procedures.
Collaborate with the continuous improvement team, and always look for improved ways of performing your duties.
Identify and demonstrate use of personal protective equipment.
High School Diploma or equivalent.

3+ years’ experience as a Forklift Operator.

• Experience working in a Warehouse.
• Experience working in a production facility is an asset.
• Understanding of warehouse stocking procedures.
• Experience handling large or bulky PVC, Aluminum or wood products.

Communicate effectively in English both verbal and written.
The ability to move around the plant floor and maneuver materials and equipment.
Pressure to produce tangible results and complete projects within tight timelines.
