In this role, you will contribute directly to the success of our customers, our operations, and the Fastfrate Group as a whole. The Supervisor leads a fast-paced operation, ensuring freight moves accurately and on time through the dock. With real-time problem solving, resource planning, and hands-on leadership, this role makes a direct impact on operational efficiency and customer experience. Sunday – Thursday, 6:00pm – 2:30am

Maintain scheduling, discipline and performance management for the employees in the unloading/loading process.

Create and change dock workers schedules as dictated by demand and performance.

Breakdown, verify and process worker’s activity logs.

Create and maintain logs that are necessary to perform quick checks and assessments to ensure the highest quality.

Respond to complaints with thoroughness and accuracy.

Adhere to corporate and departmental policies and procedures

Ensures all workers have the required training through Carriers Edge (Manager/Supervisor Training Program)

Completion of all required training through Carriers Edge (Manager/Supervisor Training Program)

Management level experience of team leadership preferred

Previous experience in warehouse/LTL environment is considered an asset

Transportation industry knowledge and experience an asset (i.e. shipping/receiving, scheduling, freight negotiations and regulatory requirements

Computer skills - Outlook, Excel, Word

Clean Criminal Record

Flexible, able to deal with change

Excellent customer service/communication skills
