Senior Accounting Supervisor

Are you a CPA with a background in public practice looking to transition into an industry role? Our client, a well-regarded investment firm, is expanding its accounting team and is seeking to add a Senior Accountant in a diverse and dynamic position.
This role offers exposure to tax compliance, financial reporting, and FP&A responsibilities, providing a well-rounded experience within the finance function.
Quarterly bonus
- Oversee the complete accounting cycle and maintain accurate financial records
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and supporting documentation
- Perform account reconciliations, analytical reviews, and variance analysis
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor liquidity
- Conduct financial and operational analyses to support leadership decision-making
- Coordinate external reporting requirements and support audit processes
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather financial and operational performance metrics
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and strengthen internal controls
Professional accounting designation (completed or in progress)
- Several years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in a senior-level capacity
- Experience in a structured accounting or advisory environment is considered an asset
- Strong proficiency in spreadsheet-based financial analysis and reporting tools
