Licensed Industrial Maintenance Electrician

We are looking for a licensed electrician for a growing industrial manufacturing facility in Cambridge.

This role requires the ability to interpret technical diagrams, use precision measurement tools, and perform critical troubleshooting to ensure optimal production performance.

Shift: Straight Days - Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm

OT past 40 + DT on Sunday's

Electrical Interpretation: Read and interpret complex electrical schematics, blueprints, and PLC ladder logic to troubleshoot and install industrial control systems.

Maintenance & Calibration: Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on high-voltage power distribution, industrial motors

Systems Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair electrical faults, including failures in sensors, relays, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to minimize production downtime.

Installation & Integration: Install, wire, and commission new electrical components and machinery, ensuring all work meets the Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC).

Monitor and adjust automated systems and robotic cells to ensure optimal performance and safety within the production line.

Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate electrical logs, update schematic revisions, and ensure all work is documented within the CMMS.

Safety Leadership: Ensure strict adherence to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and arc flash safety protocols while mentoring apprentices or helpers.

Heavy lifting and rigging equipment.

Software: Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

Valid Industrial Electrician license is required.

Technical Proficiency: Self-sufficient in welding, fitting, layout, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, electrical systems, and crane/rigging operations.
