We are seeking Intermediate Mechanical Designers to join our dynamic Automation team. The Mechanical Designer will work directly with Mechanical Design Lead and Design teams to ensure projects are met on budget. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects and contribute to the advancement of innovative manufacturing solutions. Perform engineering calculations for materials strength, speeds, and force related to designs
Develop equipment drawings and bills of materials using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
Review drawings for accuracy, material selection, machining techniques, finishes, etc
An educational background in Engineering, Robotics or a related discipline
- Experience in mechanical design utilizing SolidWorks (or equivalent)
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001, N299 and NQA-1 is an asset
Three weeks of vacation and three paid personal days (to start)
