About the Bakery: Dalia Cake is a boutique bakery based in Oakville, specializing in custom cakes crafted with care, precision, and creativity. We are a small, growing business that values teamwork and grows alongside our people.
We are currently seeking a Bakery Assistant to support our baker with daily production. This is a hands-on role that involves assisting with baking preparation, kitchen organization, and general bakery operations. The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, and eager to learn in a professional bakery setting.
Assist the baker with cake preparation.
Prepare cake fillings and components according to recipes.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
Answer customer phone calls and respond to basic inquiries.
Take and record customer orders accurately.
Assist with general kitchen and bakery duties as needed.
Part time with potential to be a full time.
Availability to work Tuesday to Saturday.
