PTA/OTA diploma or Kinesiology degree is preferred.
Personal trainers may also apply.
First Aid (CPR & AED) Certification.
Must have a full driver's license, a reliable car and a willingness to travel between sites throughout the region. Previous experience working within a rehabilitation clinical setting as an Exercise Assistant/OTA/PTA supervising and teaching exercises for 1-3 years would be an asset.
Professional, flexible and friendly demeanour with excellent relationship-building skills and work as a team.
New Graduates are welcome to apply.
Assisting physiotherapists with client care, including supervised Exercise Prescription and Progression and applying modalities such as ultrasound, IFC, EMS, traction.
Maintenance and cleaning/sterilization of medical equipment.
Collecting outcome measure data.
Other duties may be assigned, Training provided.
Must be able to work at all 4 clinics and a variety of Morning, Afternoon and Evening shifts, and may include Saturdays.
