Pastry Chef De Partie - Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour, dependent on experience
This role is about more than baking, it’s about precision, passion, and learning the foundations of exceptional pastry. The Pastry Cook plays a key role in bringing desserts and baked goods to life, supporting the team with consistency, care, and attention to detail in a fast-paced, high-standard environment.
Pastry Preparation & Execution
Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, breads, and confections following established recipes and standards.
Follow direction from Chef de Partie and Pastry leadership to execute tasks accurately and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station in accordance with HACCP and sanitation standards.
Use kitchen and pastry equipment safely and responsibly.
Assist with inventory and stock management as required.
Work collaboratively with the pastry and culinary team to support service across all outlets.
Contribute to a respectful, supportive, and high-energy kitchen environment.
Culinary or Pastry training (formal education or equivalent experience preferred).

• 1–3 years’ experience in a kitchen, bakery, or pastry environment.
• Basic knowledge of pastry techniques, baking fundamentals, and kitchen operations.
• FOODSAFE certification an asset.
• Physical stamina to work in a kitchen environment; A positive, team-first mindset with a passion for pastry and hospitality.

Bonus If You Bring
Experience in a hotel or high-volume pastry kitchen.
A passion for local ingredients and creative presentation.
A curiosity and eagerness to grow within the culinary field.
You are at the beginning (or early stages) of your pastry journey, and you’re hungry to learn. Ability to work in a hot, fast-paced environment for extended shifts.
