Senior Accounting Supervisor

Overview Our client, a reputable organization within the financial services sector, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join their team on a 3-month contract . This position offers a fully remote work environment and presents a strong opportunity to transition into a permanent role based on performance and business needs.
Own the monthly close process and support financial and regulatory reporting
Act as subject matter expert on complex accounting issues and provide solutions as appropriate
Serve as the go-to person for financial reporting and monthly close presentations, including preparing variance analyses and commentary on financial results
Perform complex analysis and articulate the financial and regulatory implications
Participate in year-end audits and other audits, preparing supporting workpapers and promptly addressing questions
3+ years of full cycle accounting experience coupled with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA designation or equivalent experience
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles
- Experience with applications and ERP systems, including Oracle, NetSuite, Excel, Word, Preset, and Google Suite
