Hospitality Services Manager

Reporting to the Hospitality Services Manager, the Hospitality Supervisor oversees daily operations across housekeeping and food services within the facility. This hands-on leadership role ensures high standards of cleanliness, safety, and meal service while fostering a respectful, responsive, and team-oriented environment. The Assistant Manager plays a key role in staff development, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance resident experience and operational excellence.

Housekeeping Oversight
- Supervise Housekeeping Attendants and ensure adherence to cleaning protocols and infection control standards
- Conduct staff orientation, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop work schedules and assign duties based on facility needs
- Monitor quality assurance programs and recommend improvements
- Participate in product/equipment evaluations and special cleaning projects
- Support departmental planning, staffing, and communication initiatives
- Assume Housekeeping Manager duties during absences
Food Services Oversight
- Conduct daily audits and rounds with unit leads and residents
- Coordinate catering, special projects, and ARAMARK program implementation
- Manage food and supply orders, equipment maintenance, and sanitization logs
- Cover shifts as needed and support front-line routines
- Respond proactively to resident concerns and service expectations
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, residents, and stakeholders
- Participate in facility and community meetings as assigned
- Physical ability to perform hands-on tasks and walk throughout the facility
- Clean Criminal Record Check
5+ years of experience in hospitality or food services within healthcare or senior living
- Degree or certification in hospitality, nutrition, or related field
- Knowledge of regulatory standards (Advanced FST, WHMIS, OH&S, Infection Control)
- Experience with scheduling, audits, and team supervision

The pay range for this position is $50,000.00 - $60,000.00.
