We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Broiler Cook to join our exceptional kitchen team.
Position Overview :The Broiler Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality steaks and other menu items in the broiler station. This is a key position in our kitchen, requiring a deep understanding of grilling techniques, precision, and a commitment to excellence. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining the standards of quality and consistency that Harbour 60 is known for.
Grill and cook steaks and other proteins to precise specifications (temperature, texture, and presentation).
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with Harbour 60's quality standards and recipe specifications.
Work closely with the kitchen team to coordinate orders and ensure timely delivery of meals.
Monitor cooking times, temperatures, and portion sizes for consistency and accuracy.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards.
Support the kitchen team in fulfilling special requests and dietary restrictions.
Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
Proven experience as a Broiler Cook, Grill Cook, or similar role in a high-end restaurant or steakhouse.
Strong knowledge of grilling techniques and broiler equipment.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the kitchen and service teams.
Flexibility to work evening shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
Food safety certification (e.g., Food Handler's Certificate) is preferred.
