If you are looking role where you can put your data an analytical skills to work, the Occupancy and Admissions Coordinator might be the role for you. Reporting to the Supervisor, Residence Admissions, the Occupancy and Admissions Coordinator is part of the Housing Services Team. The Occupancy and Admissions Coordinator is primarily responsible for the residence admissions process, ensures residence admissions operates in an effective and efficient manner. This includes a focus on housing applications and accurate management of all student records in accordance with University of Toronto and department related policies. The Occupancy & Admissions Coordinator will assist in maximizing occupancy through keeping application and current student data up to date, coordinating incoming and outgoing students and provide information for decision making. The Occupancy and Admissions Coordinator will provide admissions support to move in and move outoperations, residence recruitment and residence student staff. Liaising with colleagues to encourage the use of best practices and consistent programming

Analyzing data

Bachelor degree in a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience with database management (ie. Advanced computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite).

Excellent customer service skills in providing detailed information and support to various stakeholders.

Assets (Nonessential):

Records management and contract administration knowledge.

Experience advising students on residence admissions, off campus housing, residence operations.

Knowledge of the university's procedures as they relate to the Freedom of Information and Privacy Act (FIPPA) and management of confidential student information.

Experience with the Ontario Residential Tenancies Act, including knowledge of post-secondary education institution exemptions.
