SCRUM MASTER/ DELIVERY MANAGER (IT)
$95k - $145k per yearScrum Master / Delivery Manager – Mainframe Platforms
This role is hybrid and requires you to be at a Client office at a minimum 4 days per week - subject to change at any time.
As a Scrum Master / Delivery Manager, you will drive delivery excellence for our core mainframe cards and transactions platforms, ensuring predictable, high-quality outcomes in a 24/7, mission-critical environment.
You will work closely with business partners, developers, Business Systems Analysts (BSAs), Quality Engineering (QE), and production support teams to manage delivery across online and batch mainframe systems supporting Online Banking, POS, ATM, and related channels.
Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Manage end-to-end delivery, including scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and milestones
Coordinate delivery across mainframe development, testing, and production support teams
Proactively identify, remove, and escalate impediments and delivery risks
Track, analyze, and report on delivery metrics, milestones, and status
Support conversion initiatives, audits, and regulatory programs from a delivery perspective
Ensure strong alignment between business priorities and technical execution
Drive continuous improvement in delivery practices, processes, and team collaboration
Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and IT partners
Provide support for after-hours releases or production activities when required (rare)
1. 5–7 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Delivery Manager, or similar delivery leadership role
Completion of a post-secondary education
Proven experience delivering large-scale IT initiatives
Hands-on experience managing delivery for mainframe-based systems
Solid understanding of Agile, hybrid, and/or waterfall delivery models
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-visibility, 24/7 environment
Working knowledge of COBOL, IMS, DB2, JCL
Experience with CI/CD pipelines in mainframe environments
Agile or Scrum certifications (CSM, SAFe, or equivalent)
