It also covers data management, analytics, and keeping things compliant. This is a leadership role that doesn't manage people directly but requires a lot of influence in guiding teams across the organization. You'll use your deep technical know-how to set, implement, and maintain standards for platform use, data, integration, and best practices. WHAT YOU'LL DO

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Data.

Lead efforts around event ingestion from web and mobile applications into the Marketing platform to enable personalized customer experiences.

Ensure seamless data integration through web tagging, JavaScript libraries, and Restful APIs.

Communicate the Marketing platform's capabilities and limitations, guiding informed decisions and setting realistic expectations.

Serve as the internal subject matter expert, assisting with platform architecture and customization.

Oversee system administration, including configuration, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.

Guide front-end development and integration work with the Marketing platform.

Design and advocate for robust, scalable, and secure API solutions and integrations.

Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing data-driven recommendations for improvements.

Collaborate closely with Data Engineering teams to specify optimal data requirements and ensure alignment with platform capabilities.

Lead efforts in testing and validating integrations, event flows, and data accuracy.

Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and maintain data security standards.

Stay updated with the latest trends in marketing automation and propose innovative solutions.

WHAT YOU'VE DONE

You have a university degree or technical school diploma in a related technical field such as Information Technology or Computer Science. Have a degree in something else? Tell us about it and how you can use it in this role.

You have a strong background in marketing technology platforms, focusing on customer journey orchestration, segmentation, and personalization.

You have an understanding of marketing business applications (CDPs, marketing automation systems, preferably Zeta) and their role in driving customer engagement.

You've got proven experience in providing technical leadership and influencing cross-functional teams in complex environments.

You have previous experience in product management or consulting for marketing technology platforms (preferred).

You have expertise in web tagging, event tracking, and integration of data streams from multiple sources into centralized marketing platforms.

You have an understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular or React) and front-end development, as well as JavaScript SDKs and APIs.

You have strong knowledge of API best practices, authentication protocols, and security measures.

You have demonstrated experience in administering, configuring, and optimizing complex technical platforms.

You are familiar with monitoring tools, debugging techniques, and performance optimization strategies.

You have a strong knowledge of web application security principles and best practices.

You have an understanding of data privacy regulations and security standards in marketing automation.
