Inside Sales Specialist (Full-time)

As an Inside Sales Representative for IPS, you will serve as the primary contact for our customers for their industrial electrical experience—from quote through delivery for their incoming equipment and service needs right down to the motor or pump.

Communicate with customers and assist with deciding on electrical product or service requirements.

Research and communicate with IPS vendors on parts and part delivery.

Responsible to prepare designs, quotes and support to the customer.

Work with Outside Technical Sales reps to address their customer’s needs.

Responsible for preparation of quotes, purchasing product, invoicing and unmatched customer experience (UCE).

Technical background with electrical and/or mechanical products required

• 2 or more years of sales experience in an industrial environment or equivalent education preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with current and potential customers
• Ability to understand, perform and retain various job-related training
• Flexible with hours, overtime, and some weekend work
