Business Development Manager, Insurance (Remote)

As Business Development Manager, Broker and Travel Advisors Channels in Vancouver Canada you will work with assigned accounts to manage day-to-day activities, growth revenue, and ensure profitability in the broker channel for our west-coat clients. Drive additional revenue growth by identifying other new business opportunities.
Remote role based in mainland Vancouver, Canada, with travel required for client meetings and business development. Manage assigned accounts within the Travel & Broker channels:
Deliver best‑in‑class service to partner accounts, ensuring timely, high‑quality support.
Lead regular partner check‑ins and performance reviews.
Coordinate partner visits and training sessions, both onsite and remote.
Manage partner renewals and track performance against targets.
Grow assigned accounts:
Build business cases to prioritize and implement new revenue generating opportunities.
Identify other upsell and cross-sell opportunities related to partners’ business.
Grow new business:
Attend industry events and track market trends to identify new business opportunities.
Maintain pipeline of new business opportunities
Work effectively in an environment shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data analytics, and cloud‑based tools, using insights responsibly and in alignment with our standards for data governance, security, and ethical use.

College diploma/degree (or equivalent) with background in business, sales, or marketing.

• 5+ years of sales account or client management experience (insurance industry preferred).
• Strong understanding of industry trends, client needs, and business development.
• Experience with modern client management, sales and business development strategies, with a track record of achieving goals.
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively, build consensus, and manage diverse relationships.
• Demonstrated success in generating new business and driving client retention and growth.
• Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) is an asset.
• Extensive travel required.

Annualized base pay range is $65,286 - $95,780 CAD
Actual base pay may vary based upon factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity of peers, and geographic location. Employees may also qualify for performance-based bonuses, merit increases, and other incentives based on individual and company performance. The availability and amount of these additional compensation elements are determined by company policy and may vary.
