Human Resources Associate - Recruitment

Huawei Canada has an immediate 12-month contract opening for an HR Assistant.
As a strategic partner supporting all of Huawei Canada, the Human Resource Department plays a pivotal role in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent while ensuring compliance with corporate and legal standards. Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legal regulations. Assist in updating and communicating policies as needed.
Serve as a reliable source of information for employees, promptly answering questions regarding HR policy enquiry.
Maintain HR databases and systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of employee records. Generate reports and analyze HR metrics as needed.
Coordinate training programs, workshops, and other development initiatives for employees. Assist in identifying training needs and evaluating training effectiveness.
Support HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement programs, diversity and inclusion efforts, and process improvements.
Provide administrative assistance to the HR department, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 1-2 years of experience in HR or related field, with demonstrated progression in responsibilities.
