The Faculty of Health Sciences ((FHS) is a large, diverse, and comprehensive unit, comprised of six Schools (Nursing, Kinesiology, Health Studies, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Communication Sciences and Disorders), a large Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences and four Research Centres. The faculty has more than 3,200 undergraduate students and more than 800 graduate students (200 PhD students).
The Program Coordinator (Advanced Health Programs) provides program coordination and leaderships for the Advanced Health Care Practice (AHCP) and Masters of Nursing (MN) programs in supporting the effective functioning and execution of these graduate programs. The Program Coordinator will primarily support the execution of capstone projects, as part of the AHCP and Master of Health Sciences program, and the execution of the knowledge synthesis course as part of the Master of Nursing program. The Program Coordinator will liaise with students, mentors and external partners to ensure administrative processes, memorandums of understanding and student / project placement requirements are in place.
Working closely with the Assistant Dean, Advanced Programs in Health, Field Leaders and Faculty Leaders and the Program Coordinator will support the program goals and objectives including ensuring effective student recruitment processes are in place, liaising and supporting students through the program milestones and supporting faculty and instructors through the program delivery, including organizational support for residencies, research conferences and other associated events.
Undergraduate Degree in a related discipline; health care related field is preferred

3 years' experience providing administrative support and coordination in a complex organization
~ Experience with project management and schedule coordination would be an asset

Ability to understand, interpret, and effectively communicate University guidelines, policies and practices to key stakeholders
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple and diverse tasks and to quickly re-allocate resources and adjust priorities in response to unexpected events or changing circumstances
Project management skills to champion a project from conception to completion, and to ensure that team roles are clear, milestones are communicated and deadlines are met
A well-defined sense of diplomacy including solid negotiation, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills
Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with University policies and procedures preferred
