Senior BI Developer (Remote)

Job Responsibility:
Responsibilities:
Analyze business requirements and liaise with clients.
Facilitate development, design, testing, and implementation of web-based, cloud-based, and mainframe applications.
Define standards for enterprise data integration and governance.
Design metadata management programs and scripts.
Evaluate BI solution architectures and design healthcare business information structures.
Perform data quality assessments, transformations, and cleansing.
Develop and test BI solutions.
Develop Java-based applications and integrate OSS products.
Create technical documentation and implementation plans.
Prepare and execute test plans, unit tests, and implementation plans.
Provide system support and troubleshoot production incidents.
Conduct design and testing walkthroughs.
Report on project status and progress.
Qualifications:
Technical Skills:

• 5+ years of business intelligence and Cognos experience (Framework Manager, Report Studio, Active Reports, Transformer, dashboarding).
• 3+ years of Metrics Studio experience.
• IBM Certified Designer, Developer, and Administrator for Cognos 11.2.1 BI.
• Experience with structured, agile, and DevOps methodologies.
• Knowledge of relational databases (DB2, Oracle, MS-SQL) and security tools.
• Experience with large-scale IT systems and integration of service APIs and micro-services.
• Ability to write modular, well-structured programs and create system design documents.

Analytical Skills:
Analyze business requirements and adhere to project management methodologies.
Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents.
Communication Skills:
Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Proven track record of meeting deadlines and working productively with diverse teams.
Public Sector Experience:
~ Experience working in the public sector.

Must-Haves:

• 5+ years of business intelligence and Cognos experience.
• IBM Certified in Cognos 11.2.1 BI.
• Experience with project management methodologies (waterfall, agile, DevOps).

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contractContract length: 10 months
Pay: $80.00-$100.00 per hour
