Senior IBM Cognos Developer Cognos Analytics & Reporting
We are seeking an experienced IBM Cognos Developer with strong expertise in Cognos Analytics Report Studio SQL and data modeling to develop and maintain enterprise reporting solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Cognos reports dashboards and frameworks using Report Studio/Cognos Analytics.
- Design and maintain data models packages and metadata layers for business reporting.
- Gather reporting requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into technical solutions.
- Optimize report performance and ensure data accuracy consistency and governance .
- Integrate Cognos with enterprise data platforms including SQL Server Oracle and Azure data services .
- Support production issues enhancements and release deployments.
- Participate in UAT report validation testing and technical documentation .
Essential Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM Cognos Analytics / Cognos BI .
- Expertise in Cognos Report Studio .
- Strong SQL skills.
- Experience with data modeling metadata and packages .
- Understanding of ETL concepts and enterprise data platforms .
- Experience with SQL Server Oracle or Azure data services .
- Strong troubleshooting reporting validation and stakeholder communication skills.
