Team Lead - Warehouse Associate - AFTERNOON SHIFT

As a Lead Professional Warehouse Operator with Envision Cold, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. You will be responsible for ensuring receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. Additionally, you will lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff to ensure that all tasks are completed accurately, timely, and safely. This role requires knowledge of forklift operation, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in a cooler/freezer environment.
This role is an early 2nd shift with hours from 11:30AM - 8:00PM Monday through Friday , and may include some Saturdays if needed for business. Must have reliable transportation as the site is not easily accessible by public transit. Candidates must be authorized to legally work in Canada, and work full-time hours. Candidates on a Student Visa cannot be considered. Preference given to candidates that are either a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Supervise the day-to-day productivity of warehouse staff.
Oversee the receiving, storing, and organizing of incoming stock.
Ensure accurate picking, packing, and shipping of orders.
Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
Optimize warehouse organization for maximum efficiency.
Assist in regular reporting on warehouse activities, such as inventory levels, order fulfillment, and productivity metrics
Help with the loading, unloading and storage of pallets and containers in a safe and efficient manner.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 1 year Reach Truck experience required.
Maintain a valid forklift operator certification.
Previous experience in a warehouse leadership role or similar position.
Fluent in verbal and written communication in English.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Proficient with inventory management systems and software.
Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and best practices.
