Welder/ Fitter (Manufacturing)

PTW is looking forStructural SteelWelder's towork in our Calgary fabrication facility. Flexible start times with options on morning, or afternoons!
Monday-Friday shift with opportunities to work weekends for extra overtime
~Day and night shift available

Reads and interprets blueprints or welding process specifications and welding symbols.
Operates manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW).
Accurately completes time sheets, weight sheets, hazard analysis sheets etc.
Adjusts welding equipment and tooling according to work specifications.
Completes housekeeping duties in assigned area or project area on a daily basis and/or when required.
One year of work experience in the trade required. Some college or industry courses in welding are considered an asset.
Interprovincial trade certification (Red Seal) an asset.
Specialization in structural construction welding considered an asset.
Solid understanding of welding equipment and welding accessories.
Must have own transportation as location is not accessible with public transportation.
Overhead Crane certification is an asset.
